the weather was very strange this week, one day it was pouring with rain so much so that my backyard resembled a water park and then the next day the sun was shinning. so it gave us the opportunity to enjoy quiet mornings inside reading stories and listening to the rain on the tin roof and then the next day we were able to enjoy a walk to the park in the beautiful warm sunshine.
i worked my last day as the junior school sports teacher this week (last for the term anyway)
next week i start my new role down in the pre primary.
we prepared for the little guys birthday party which is this weekend.
some of the lollies made it into the gift boxes the rest ended up in williams mouth.
there was lots of play time this week. we were pirates sailing on the ocean and fireman rescuing teddy bears. there were many trips to the park and we even played in the pre primary when i slipped in to do some planning for next week.
but the most exciting thing for us this week was...
EGGS!!!!!
our chickens bob and wendy gave us our first eggs yesterday and it was a very exciting occasion.
william collected them and helped me to cook them and he ate them for dinner.

Just wait until you have too many eggs and you can give them away....there is nothing better than eggs on tap though.
