An Australian Christmas

The day was hot, too hot to be outside until late in the afternoon when the sea breeze drifted in.

We were surrounded by both our families and each year the table keeps on growing us our families are expanding. This year we had a new arrival on Christmas Eve. Our new little nephew was born just in time to join in on the celebrations.

We celebrated Jesus birth at church and sung carols together, the food was constantly flowing and under the tree the gifts were spilling out.

The children played together with their new gifts and the adults enjoyed each others company while sipping on cool drinks and eating delicious treats.

The day ended too quickly and we wearily dropped into bed only to have our little guy wake us up super early on boxing day so that all the fun could begin again.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I am so glad that we were home with our loved ones. Now we look forward to spending the summer together and ringing in the new year.
