We are still waiting to move into our new home. Our little country abode on top of the hill overlooking the trees, the lake and all the way to the hills and out to the ocean. I still can not believe we get to live here. It needs a little TLC but we are so very blessed with this opportunity.
It has been six weeks since we arrived home and it has been a long time to live out of a suitcase and I am very keen to get into my own place. It is not long now until we can officially move in, hopefully sometime next week. I am so thankful for my family and friends who have hosted us in their homes during our time of limbo.
Work has begun to start making our little house more livable. My boys have been working hard in the garden to get it ready for planting and now we are dreaming of all the wonderful vegetables, plants and flowers that we are going to plant. It is exciting to work with a blank canvas.
I can not wait for balmy summer evenings spent sitting out on our veranda enjoying the view and each others company. Watching the sun set out at sea and drinking summer fruit blends made from fruit picked from our orchard.
Oh I know what living out of a suitcase feels like but before too long you will be settling in to your new home, which looks amazing. I can just imagine how peaceful it must be there.
